This exhibit shows examples of volcanic action that happened millenia ago that shaped the landscape of Pinal County, Central Arizona and the entire southwest of the United States. Specific local mountains that had been formed by volcanic action will bring this exciting display to life.
Hundreds of thousands of years ago prehistoric animals roamed Central Arizona including Pinal County. This exhibit brings pre-history into the present day with the fossilized remenents from that
period in our local history.
